Canada: Pig farming without gestation stalls by 2024?

The Canadian National Farm Animal Care Council (NFACC) launched a consultation for its draft Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Pigs. The Code proposes a number of reforms, such as transitioning towards more limited use of gestation stalls by 2024.
