Last May, I announced that I would be contributing a chapter on Animal Welfare and International Trade to the second edition of the book ‘Animal Welfare: productivity and quality of meat’, whose production has been co-ordinated by Dr Daniel Mota Rojas of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana of México City.
The book – which is available only in Spanish – has now been published, and was officially launched at the 1st Ibero-American Animal Welfare Congress in Mexico City on 5 December.
Copies can be ordered directly from the publisher, the Editorial Elsevier at the price of 799 Mexican pesos each. The book’s title in Spanish is ‘Bienestar animal. productividad y calidad de la carne’.
