On the occasion of its first 365 days of life (28 May 2011 to 27 May 2012), the AnimalWelfareAndTrade website offers many reasons to celebrate.
On average, in this first year there have been around 10 visits a day, with a peak of 180 on 15 March this year.
There have been over 1,700 visitors from 83 countries and territories all over the world.
In each visit, users have viewed an average of 3.25 pages, making a total of 11,879 page views. Nearly 4 minutes is the average duration of each visit. In the last six months there have been more visitors than in the first half-year.
Italy is still the place from which the site has received the most visits, followed by the UK, Brazil, United States, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Slovenia, Colombia, Australia, Finland, Mexico, Costa Rica, Denmark, New Zealand, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Argentina, India, Spain, Austria, Peru, Romania, Sweden, China, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Philippines, Poland, Indonesia, Malaysia, Portugal, Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, Thailand, Chile, Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Ireland, Japan, Lithuania, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Israel, South Korea, Luxembourg, Bolivia, Hong Kong, Norway, Uruguay, Bangladesh, Estonia, Croatia, Iceland, Jamaica, Kenya, Pakistan, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, Trinidad and Tobago, Taiwan, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Cyprus, Ecuador, Iran, Jersey, Jordan, Laos, Monaco, Malta, Malawi, Panama, Somalia and Tunisia.
Updates are now uploaded more often, and soon the first issue of the AnimalWelfareAndTrade Newsletter will be published to highlight some of them.
All this work is keeping my email backlog at unmanageable levels, so please do not hesitate to send a reminder if you’ve been expecting a reply from me for too long.
Many thanks again for visiting this website – I hope you are finding it useful and interesting. Any suggestions for ways of improving it are always welcome.
