On 14 March 2013 the new AnimalWelfareAndTrade office was opened in London.
After years working as a freelance consultant – either from home or from contractors’ offices – I registered Animal Welfare And Trade Ltd on 14 February, and since mid-March my activities have been conducted from the small AnimalWelfareAndTrade office.
Since then I have been enjoying the valuable support of Zahour Akhtar, who is dividing his time between AWAT and Animals’ Angels, the organisation with which I share the office space.
Updates to this website should soon become more frequent, and so will the circulation of the AWAT Newsletter. If you haven’t yet registered to receive the Newsletter, please enter your email address in the box on the right of this page.
Animalwelfareandtrade now has its own Facebook page, while on Twitter I will carry on using the @sansolini profile. In both of these, new content from the AWAT website will be regularly highlighted, and links to the relevant AWAT pages provided.
All the effort we have been putting into organising the office space and dealing with countless documents has temporarily slowed down our activities, but we are confident that very soon our work will be back to full speed. Our aim is to be a small but efficient and effective team, which can achieve real improvements for animals.
As usual, please feel free to browse around the AWAT website, and don’t hesitate to send us your comments.
