Many groups are already active at St James’s, and recently some members of this Christian community have decided to come together to deepen their understanding of the roots of animal welfare in the Scriptures, and to examine how Christians are called to take care of all God’s creatures, both as individuals and as a church. In other words, we are exploring the question: are animals our neighbours too?

In relation to the start of this group’s activities, I have written a text on Christianity and animal welfare, which you can read on St James’s website.
