2008 Forum and 2009 Conference on Animal Welfare and Trade documents now available on European Commission website
I was among the organisers of the 2008 Forum on Global Aspects of Farm Animal Welfare and of the 2009 Conference on Global Trade and Farm Animal Welfare. 150 people attended the Forum, and over 400 from 55 countries attended the Conference, to discuss how trade rules and policies can be – and have already been – used to improve animal welfare.
